We are a family of five—two adults and three children—living in the beautiful Bay of Plenty, New Zealand.

Kirsten is a sixth-generation homesteader with a deep passion for bringing the garden to the plate. Her love for homegrown food stems from cherished childhood memories on her family farm in sunny Hawke's Bay—picking fresh plums from the orchard to stew for breakfast and enjoying sun-ripened tomatoes straight from the vine in her father’s garden.

After recently facing a life-threatening health challenge, Kirsten became even more mindful of the food her family consumed. This experience led to the expansion of their food forest and vegetable gardens, doubling their growing space to support a healthier, more sustainable lifestyle.

With the rising cost of living and soaring food prices, we wanted to offer others the opportunity to enjoy homegrown, spray-free produce at an affordable price. Watch this space—more details are coming soon!

We’ve been crafting handmade soy candles for about three years. What began as a hobby for our middle child, Michaela, quickly blossomed into a small business. We've since attended local markets, gifted candles to loved ones, donated to charities, and shared our creations with deserving members of our community.

Cooking with seasonal produce, gardening, developing new recipes, and handcrafting candles have become creative and healing outlets for Kirsten as she continues her health journey.
